1.Post metric Scholarship

Scholarship Amount:

The Post-Matric Scholarship offers financial support to cover various educational expenses, including tuition fees, maintenance allowances, and other incidental charges. The scholarship amount varies depending on the course of study and the category of the student. The scheme provides scholarships for students from various categories, such as SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), BC (Backward Class), EBC (Economically Backward Class), Disabled, and Minority communities.

Who Can Apply:

The Post-Matric Scholarship is open to students from Telangana & Andhra Pradesh who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. The applicant should be a resident of the respective state.
  2. The student must belong to a specific category as mentioned above.
  3. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed the prescribed limit set by the government.
  4. The student should be pursuing post-matric education, including intermediate, ITI, polytechnic, undergraduate, postgraduate, or professional courses in recognized institutions.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the Post-Matric Scholarship involves the following steps

  1.  Online Application: Eligible students need to submit their applications through the official website or the designated portal within the specified deadline. The application form should be filled accurately, providing all the necessary details and supporting documents.
  2.  Verification: After the submission of applications, the authorities will verify the information provided by the applicants. This includes verifying the applicant's category, income details, and educational documents.

Required Documents:

To apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship, students must have the following documents ready:
  1. Caste Certificate: Valid proof of belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC, Disabled, or Minority communities.
  2. Income Certificate: Documentary evidence of the annual family income, issued by a competent authority.
  3.  Bonafide Certificate: A certificate from the educational institution verifying the student's enrollment.
  4.  Previous Academic Records: Mark sheets or certificates of the previous qualifying examination.
  5.  Aadhaar Card: A valid Aadhaar card or Aadhaar enrollment number.
  6.  Bank Account Details: A copy of the bank passbook reflecting the student's account details.

2.Vidyadhan SDF Scholarship

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation supports the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged families. The students are selected after completion of 10th grade /SSLC through a rigorous selection process including test and interview. 

Those selected will be eligible for two year scholarship from the Foundation. If they continue to do well, they will be given scholarship for pursuing any degree course of their interest; these scholarships are directly through the foundation or external sponsors who have registered with the Foundation. The scholarship amount for graduation courses varies from Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000 per year depending on the state, course, duration etc. The selected students will be required to attend the mentoring programs from the Foundation.

Scholarship amounts

Scholarship amounts for 11th and 12th grades will be a maximum of Rs. 10,000/- year

Who Can Apply?

Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th grade/SSC exam in the year 2023 from Andhra Pradesh. They should also have scored 90% or obtained 9 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination. The cutoff mark for students with disability is 75%. or 7.5 CGPA

Selection Process

SDF will shortlist the applicants based on their academic performance and the information provided in the application form. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short online test/interview. Students can apply free of cost on the website directly. No other person or institution has been authorised to select students on our behalf.

  • Scanned copies of the following are required
  • 10th Marksheet   (If original marksheet is not available , you can upload provisional /online marksheet from the SSLC/CBSE/ICSC website.
  • Photograph  
  • Income Certificatefrom a competent authority; ration card not accepted
